House Update

Hey ya'll! Sorry for going missing for about a week. My husband have been keeping a 4 year old little boy to help out his parents and that's a big adjustment for us. We still currently have him and I just couldn't juggle him, blogging, work, and just everyday household chores. So, I decided to get up early and give a little house update.

We are about to have a roof! We have our rafters and ceiling joists up and this weekend we (hopefully) will complete the plywood on the rood so this coming week we can get the inspection and carry on our way.

All the holes for windows are not cut out yet. There are two windows on both sides for the front door, spaced symmetrically. 

 This picture is before the roof had even been started i believe. Maggie loves her house already tough, and i really wanted to share.

Monday, April 30th, I celebrated my 23rd birthday! Nothing big, because we're trying to save money for our house. We did though, have our first dinner party in our new house! We moved some old card tables and the outside chairs into our home, picked some flowers out of the yard and made a cute little centerpiece and ordered some pizza, and of course cake. It was so much fun and such a neat memory  with some of our closest friends. 

Hopefully at the beginning of the week i'll have a chance to give another update on how the house is coming and be able to show off our new roof!
